Earthship Media provides video production packages for events, interviews, short- and long-form content, and documentaries. These projects are tailored for social media, web, and YouTube. We are most passionate about projects that promote ecological stewardship, connection, and human rights.​

​​​VIDEO & PRODUCTION

The following pricing is a general guideline that covers most services. These prices reflect a much lower rate than traditional video production companies. This is mainly because Earthship Media is working to attract clients from non-profit or community-based organizations that may not have a commercial budget. The listed pricing includes staging and setup time. If you have a longer-term or passion-based project, we can come up with a plan that works best for us. â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹

VIDEO PRODUCTION INCLUDES:

  • 1080p, 4K, or 6K video production workflows.

  • Horizontal or vertical video.

  • A teleprompter is available for use for talking-head or informational videos.

  • Professional audio (Up to 4 wireless microphones or 2 body mics.) (Client provides an audio handoff for more extensive scale presentations or venues.)

  • Professional lighting (Interviews and talking-head style video only)

  • Space and power must be available 2 hours before the start of the live stream for equipment setup.​​

  • Live-Streaming (We have the capability to to stream 1080P with up two fixed and one operated camera.) â€‹

​​​​VIDEO CATEGORIES

This style of video is often captured in vérité style, which creates a more holistic and real-life feel. It is often filmed handheld while also incorporating tripod interviews and cinematic b-roll sequences.

EDUCATIONAL

Much like promotional videos, educational content can consist of a mix of filming, overlays, and product-type video content put together to establish authority over a topic. Earthship Media works with you to ideate and develop a script to help you share your knowledge and distribute the content on your chosen platform.

 

PROMOTIONAL

While Earthship Media is not a marketing agency, there is a benefit in working with organizations to share the good things they are working on in a community. Promotional content is often faster-paced and marketing-oriented. There is a way to share what you offer without focusing solely on the profit. What you offer provides more than monetary value but benefits the environment or the community in a way that helps people live more fruitful and connected lives. 

 

CORPORATE

Earthship Media works with select organizations that want to promote human connection, sustainability, and helpful content that helps you share the essence and value of your organization. This can range anywhere from explainer-style videos to interviews, testimonial videos, or even a walkthrough of your operation. People today want to learn more about the societal value of an organization and trust who they do business with. 

 

EVENT

The type of event videos we work on are full event video recordings, select live-stream projects, or highlight content sharing the critical moments of your event. You can share this with the community or your organization and document your history as something to look back on as your business grows.

ON-SITE PRODUCTION RATES

  • Full-Day Session (8-Hours): $495

  • Half-Day Session (4-Hours): $275

  • 2-Hour B-Roll Single Camera Only Session: $165

* Pre-Production / Content Planning: $45 per hour

* Travel: $2 per mile round-trip (covers time and fuel costs fully included)

* Meals and Incidentals: $68 Per Day ($51 for first or last day)

* Lodging: $110-$225 (Depending on location or availability)​​​

Video Editing Timeline
POST-PRODUCTION EDITING:

​Video editing can vary widely. On average, video editing can take 3-6 times the length of filmed footage for an interview, event, or informational-style video content. To simplify things for our clients and reduce administrative time, we set an affordable, final, per minute rate for editing.​

​​​VIDEO EDITING

Editing can be challenging to determine specific timelines and exact pricing for because every project is different depending on the flow of the footage on film day, the amount of footage, pre-production planning, the shot sequences, and what is included creative edit. The following pricing is a general guideline that covers most services. These prices will be updated regularly based on Earthship Media's current gear list, workflow, and editing capabilities. The rates listed below are priced per final edited minute.​​

VIDEO EDITING INCLUDES:

  • Title Card, Lower-Thirds, Closing Sequence

  • Basic audio cleanup and leveling

  • Basic color correction and grading

  • 1 round of client-directed revisions

  • Licensed, royalty-free music through Motion Array

  • 1 thumbnail photo per video

  • Additional editing can be quoted for short-form and vertical content

  • Captions can be human-added for a per final edited minute of video cost. (99% accuracy)​

  • Video editing time can be very time subjective based on the complexity of the edit, turn-around time, and advanced editing techniques.

  • Earthship Media does not offer animation services at this time.

  • See our terms and conditions for general video editing guidelines. Base pricing includes basic color grading and matching of clips, transitions, title screen, lower-thirds, and credits.

  • Multiple cameras can add additional complexity but also help save editing time such as in a two camera interview where adding another angle creates an opportunity to reduce the amount of takes in a scene, or to help eliminate mistakes for example.

SOCIAL MEDIA

​Earthship Media is considering social media management as an offering for certain clients. Contact us if this is something you are looking for. We want to offer video packages specific for social media while also considering graphics and basic posting. Any pricing included does not include management so all content will be handed off to the client.​​

PACKAGES INCLUDE:

  • Batch-filmed videos or photos shoots edited within the same social media campaign

  • All social media content is research based and edited by a HUMAN. (AI may be used but ONLY for parsing out data.)

  • More advanced graphics (Beyond CANVA or Adobe Express) can be quoted separately.

For most social media projects, we would plan out a shoot day or regular schedule of shoots to capture photo and video as requested. We will then plan and curate this around

Earthship Media uses WordPress, Wix, or Squarespace as the Content Management System (CMS) to design a functional website for your business. From establishing suitable templates and themes to customizing layouts, we design your website to align with your brand strategy and content creation needs.

WEBSITE DESIGN

Earthship Media designs functional, brand-oriented websites using a Content Management System such as Wix, WordPress, or Squarespace. We start with an exploration call to understand your business, branding efforts, and what you envision sharing with your clients. We then work with you every step of the way to establish each page to reflect its intended purpose and establish a user experience for a site visitor.​

SERVICES THAT ARE INCLUDED:

  • Branded content using your company logo and color pallet

  • Basic website forms

  • Mobile friendly design

  • Secure Socket Layer (SSL) integration (Integrated into Wix or Squarespace)

  • Product photo updates

  • Including initial Application Programming INterface (API) integration for social media

  • Groups

  • Blogging

  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

  • Wix or Squarespace is supported. Wordpress sites would be custom quoted.

  • Basic website pricing starts with a minimum of a homepage, about, and contact pages. (Other pages include Services, or Portfolio for example.)

  • Product listings include search engine optimized "SEO" driven meta data, photo captions, and links that create a baseline for search engines to know what your product is about.

  • Product listings do not include integration with third-party applications.

As a retainer service we also can maintain your website and social media accounts to optimize SEO and keep your information current and up to date and provide monthly reports on issues and relevant analytics. 

 

WHAT IS WEB SEO?

​Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is a process used to analyze, evaluate, and adjust your website's content and background information. This helps web crawlers and indexing services know more about the content associated with your website. By optimizing this content, you will improve your chances of ranking higher in search results, which will improve your marketing success.

  • Onboarding: $100 (domain name and hosting setup)

  • Basic Price Per Page: $175 (Homepage, About, Contact pages at a minimum)

  • Basic 3rd party integration (social media, payment system): $100

  • Product / Service Listings: $25 per product listing (Client provided photos) 

 

Basic monthly maintenance:

  • 3-4 Hours per month: $180​

  • 8-10 Hours per month: $450​​

* On-boarding costs such as domain name, and website hosting are additional and based on the service provide for where your website will be hosted. On average, a basic website hosting package and domain costs approximately $600-$700 initially and then a reoccurring cost depending on how long you choose for your cycle.

* See day-rates for video and photo to take custom photos and video of your products or to add enhancements to your website. We can plan initial or regular content for your site. 

ONGOING RETAINER OR PROJECT-BASED?

One-time projects encompass complete pre- and post-production, as well as the distribution of your content. Refer to the pricing to get an idea on how things would be priced. Contact us for a quote for projects that may require capturing footage for future editing or projects that may require non-standard factors.​

Retainers are an excellent way to partner with Earthship Media as an extension of your team. Video content may not always have an immediate, specific purpose. In this case, we can work out a plan to either capture regular content or to provide a flexible option for us to develop a regular flow of content messaging for your organization. Earthship Media can capture your event or project, deliver the footage, and store it until it is needed, or we can capture, edit, and deliver complete productions on a scheduled basis. ​
