Earthship Media provides video production packages for events, interviews, short- and long-form content, and documentaries. These projects are tailored for social media, web, and YouTube. We are most passionate about projects that promote ecological stewardship, connection, and human rights.
VIDEO PRODUCTION
The following pricing is a general guideline that covers most services. These prices are significantly lower than those of traditional video production companies. This is mainly because Earthship Media is working to attract clients from non-profit or community-based organizations that may not have a commercial budget. It is our goal to share the stories that are important for the public but not profitable for commercial work. The listed pricing includes staging and setup time. If you have a longer-term or passion-based project, we can come up with a plan that works best for us.
VIDEO PRODUCTION INCLUDES:

A teleprompter is available for use for talking-head or informational videos.

Professional audio (Up to 4 wireless microphones or 2 body mics.) (Client provides an audio handoff for more extensive scale presentations or venues.)

VIDEO CATEGORIES
Earthship Media focuses on a vérité style of video that creates a more holistic, real-life feel. It is usually filmed on a handheld camera or with a tripod for interviews and cinematic B-roll sequences.
EDUCATIONAL
Much like promotional videos, educational content can combine filming, overlays, and product-focused video to establish authority on a topic. Earthship Media works with you to ideate and develop a script to help you share your knowledge and distribute the content on your chosen platform.
PROMOTIONAL
While Earthship Media is not a marketing agency, there is value in partnering with organizations to highlight the good work they are doing in the community. Promotional content is often faster-paced and marketing-oriented. There is a way to share what you offer without focusing solely on the profit. What you offer provides more than monetary value; it benefits the environment and community, helping people live more fulfilling and connected lives.
CORPORATE
Earthship Media works with select organizations that want to promote human connection, sustainability, and helpful content that helps you share the essence and value of your organization. This can range anywhere from explainer-style videos to interviews, testimonial videos, or even a walkthrough of your operation. People today want to learn more about the societal value of an organization and trust who they do business with.
EVENT
The type of event videos we work on are full event video recordings, select live-stream projects, or highlight content sharing the critical moments of your event. You can share this with the community or your organization and document your history as something to look back on as your business grows.

What is included?

Includes basic pre-production planning. Some projects that include scripting, location scouting, or extensive planning may be additional.

Travel: $2 per mile round-trip (covers time and costs)

Meals and Incidentals: $22 Per Meal (Calculated based on full/half days away from home location)

Lodging: $110-$225 (Depending on location or availability)
VIDEO EDITING
Every project is different, depending on the sequence of footage capture, the amount of footage, pre-production planning, shot sequences, and what is included in the edit.
VIDEO EDITING INCLUDES:

Basic title card, lower-thirds, closing sequence

Basic audio cleanup and leveling

Basic color correction (Advanced grading such as smoothing, masking is additional)

1 round of client-directed revisions

Licensed, royalty-free music through Motion Array

1 basic thumbnail photo per video

Additional edits can be made from longer form content

Captions can be human-added for a per final edited minute of video cost.

* Licensed music and SFX is included through Motion Array for social media, Web, and YouTube.
SOCIAL MEDIA
Earthship Media offers social media management for certain clients. Contact us if this is something you are looking for. We want to offer video packages specific for social media while also considering graphics and basic posting. Any pricing included does not include management so all content will be handed off to the client.
SOCIAL MEDIA PACKAGES INCLUDE:

Batch-filmed videos or photo shoots edited within the same social media campaign

All social media content is research-based and edited by a HUMAN. (AI is embedded into the Google engine and is unavoidable for research purposes. AI will only ever be used for research purposes or as a tool and not for story development, or creation.)

More advanced graphics (Beyond CANVA or Adobe products) can be quoted separately.
For most social media projects, we would plan out a shoot day or a regular schedule of shoots to capture photos and videos as requested. We will then plan and curate this around

* Custom add-ons beyond listed packages are priced at $105 per 30-60 second video.

ONGOING RETAINER OR PROJECT-BASED?
One-time projects encompass complete pre- and post-production, as well as the distribution of your content. Refer to the pricing to get an idea of how things would be priced. Contact us for a quote for projects that may require capturing footage for future editing or that involve non-standard requirements.
Retainers are an excellent way to partner with Earthship Media as an extension of your team. Video content may not always have an immediate, specific purpose. In this case, we can either develop a plan to capture regular content or provide a flexible option to produce a regular content flow for your organization. Earthship Media can capture your event or project, store the footage until needed, or deliver complete productions on a scheduled basis.
We can also provide the raw footage to your marketing team or editor immediately, allowing them to produce the content you need, when you need it. Consider Earthship Media as your partner in content strategy, production, and media management for your website and social media channels.
